Waltham "Traveller" running nicely

Antique American made pocket watch, made by Waltham Watch Co. in 1914.
This is a good example of the basic pocket watch made by Waltham. It is a brass plate movement with just the 7 jewels around the balance and lever. It has a straight line  Swiss lever escapement with a jewel capped balance staff, jewelled roller pin and jewelled pallet stones. These basic movements have proved to be robust, reliable and reasonably accurate, just witness the number still giving good service today.
This one is running well and keeping time within a couple of minutes per day. It is stem wind and stem set.
Original British made case by Dennison is a 10K,  20 year quality gold filled and has stood up to the years very well. The original engine turned finish has worn smooth but there appear to be no dents, dings or obvious brassing apart from the bow. It has hinged front and rear covers with a hinged internal dust cover. All of the hinges are good and all the covers operate as they should.
Single sunk white enamel dial is in very good order, as are the blued steel hands and the mineral glass crystal.
Overall a nice watch in good working order.
