Waltham 19 jewel "Riverside" pocket watch.

A very nice gentleman's high quality pocket watch made by Waltham Watch Co. in 1908.
The nickel bridge plate movement is Waltham's top grade "Riverside", they didn't get much better than this! It has a Swiss lever escapement with double roller, Sapphire pallet stones and a "Church 1892" micro -regulator. The watch also has a gold (alloy) centre wheel and gold jewel settings. It was adjusted at manufacture in 5 different positions to ensure time keeping regularity.
This watch is running really well and is keeping excellent time within a few seconds per day. It is stem wind and stem set (Tug on the crown till it clicks into time set position and rotate to set the time). The watch winds and sets smoothly.
The gold filled case is in nice condition with no dents or dings and with gold intact throughout apart from the bow that has suffered complete gold loss. The case has a snap on bezel with a hinged rear cover and hinged internal dust cover, both these hinges are fine.
Single sunk white enamel dial configured with Roman numerals and it's in super fine condition. The time is indicated by a very good set of blued steel spade/whip hands under a very good mineral glass crystal.
Overall a very high quality pocket watch in really nice condition.
