Waltham 17 jewel P S Bartlett pocket watch.

A nice useable everyday pocket watch made by Waltham Watch Co. in 1907.
This is a 16 size model 1899 movement with 17 jewels and is a P S Bartlett grade. It has a Swiss lever escapement with double roller and gold timing screws with a "Church 1892" micro-regulator. The movement is beautifully finished with a lovely damascened patterning, black enameled inlaid script and gold jewel settings.
The watch is stem wind and stem set, both functions working smoothly. It is running strong and keeps very good time to better than +1 minute a day which is pretty good for an antique watch.
Housed in a 20 year gold filled case that itself is in excellent condition. There is one tiny ding on the rear cover but apart from that I can find no flaws. All of the gold is intact, the pendant crown and bow all in good order, all in all it's a very nice case. It has hinged front and rear covers with a hinged internal dust cover, all of the hinges are good and all of the covers operate as they should.
Double sunk white enamel dial is in fair condition as it has a couple of discernible hairlines, please study the photos.
A good set of gilded hands under a good mineral glass crystal.
 
Overall a very useable antique pocket watch that is in very nice overall condition.
