Silver Waltham 17jewel "Royal" open face pocket watch.
Fabulous 17 jewel model 1908 movement which was made in 1919. The high quality movement features Gold jewel settings that are screw fixed, a gold alloy centre wheel, gold balance timing screws and a "Church" micro regulator. The watch is in excellent condition, runs really well and keeps good time. This watch is pendant wound and pendant set.
The English hallmarked case is by A L Dennison and is in very nice condition, the engine turned design to the rear is worn due to age and use, and there is a small Ding to the case edge by the 3. The case is hinged front and rear with an internal hinged dust cover, all 3 hinges are good and the covers open, and close square and tight all around. There is a professional engraving on the inner dust cover and also some initials are engraved on the rear cartouche, all a part of the history of the watch.
The double sunk white enamel dial is in super condition with the time indicated by a good set of blued steel spade style hands, and all under a very good mineral glass crystal
