Nice 16 size Elgin Hunter 15 jewels. Runs sweet!
A very nice Full Hunter from Elgin Watch Co. made in 1914.
The brass split plate movement with 15 jewels is a model 6, grade 365. Nice quality movement with Swiss lever escapement is running well in all positions and keeping good time.
The watch is stem wind and stem set.
Gold filled full hunter case is in fine condition with no dents, dings or abrasion, the gold is good all around, and all of the hinges and cover springs are good working as they should.
Canadian spec 24 hr white enamel dial is good as are the hands and the crystal.
Overall a fine example of this Hunter working as intended.
