Illinois "Bunn Special" 21 jewel railroad watch.

Beautiful Illinois Bunn Special in a plain gold filled case, recently serviced and running well.
This is a model 9 Bunn Special that was made in 1920. Full railroad spec with 21 jewels, fully capped Swiss lever escapement with double roller, gold timing screws and a sprung micro-regulator. The movement also has gold (alloy) train wheels and a steel escape wheel. The watch runs really well and is keeping excellent time. Cosmetically it's in good order although there is some staining to the crown wheel and ratchett wheel.
This watch is stem wind and lever set.
The 20 year gold filled case is in lovely condition with just a pin prick size ding to the lower main band. All of the gold is good throughout and both covers remove and replace easily.
The white enamel Montgomery style dial is in fair condition with just a couple of minor hairlines that are hard to spot with the naked eye.
Very good set of blued steel heavy spade style hands under a domed acrylic crystal.
Overall a very collectible watch in excellent all round condition that works as it should.
