Illinois 60 Hr. type 161A Bunn Special railroad watch.

Illinois railroad watch that was made in 1942 after Hamilton Watch Co. had taken over Illinois production. This is a 60 hour Bunn Special grade 161A  that features the Hamilton produced "Elinvar" white metal hairspring and solid balance wheel.
The watch has a fully capped lever escapement with double roller, Sapphire pallets, the "Elinvar" temperature resistant hairspring, gold timing screws, and a micro-regulator. The watch was serviced in July last year so it runs strong and keeps excellent time, it is stem wind and lever set.
3 piece gold filled case in nice condition with just a couple of very minor dings to the rear. All of the gold is bright and lustrous and the screw on / off covers do so easily.
The double sunk white enamel Montgomery dial is in great condition, heavy spade style hands in nice order under a good acrylic crystal.
Overall a very high quality railroader in good order and working as intended
