Fantastic 23 jewel Hamilton 950B Railroad. Display Case.

The 16 size 950B is the pinnacle of Hamilton's range of railroad approved pocket watches. It has 23 jewels including a fully jewelled mainspring barrel, Fully capped Swiss Lever Escapement with double roller, gold timing screws, the "Elinvar" temperature and magnetism resistant hairspring with associated solid mono-metal balance wheel, and a sprung micro-regulator. Adjusted in 6 positions for timekeeping regularity and finished with a lovely damascened pattern and gold jewel settings, they didn't get better than this!
This particular watch is in fine fettle as it has just been fully serviced and tested. It runs strong in all positions for the full extent of the wind and is keeping time within a couple of seconds per day. The watch is crown wind and lever set (remove front cover and withdraw the small lever by the 1, rotating the crown now sets the time), both functions work smoothly.
 Housed in a C.W.C. Co. gold plated 3 piece display case with clear crystals front and back. The movement is always on display without removing the rear cover. Screw on / off front and rear covers with both doing so very easily and both close down square and tight. The case is in lovely condition throughout with no dents, dings or abrasion.
Original double sunk enamelled dial is in super condition with no visible flaws that I can see (please check the pictures). Similarly good black enamelled hands and 2 good acrylic crystals.
Overall a highly sought after railroad watch in as new condition, tremendous.
