Elgin 19j B W Raymond Railroad.14K white GF case

Lovely white gold filled antique Elgin railroad watch made in 1919.
 
This is a model 15, grade 455 movement with 19 jewels, Swiss lever escapement with double roller, Sapphire pallets, gold timing screws and a travelling nut micro-regulator. The movement is beautifuly finished with gilt inlaid script and gold jewel settings.
The watch is running well and is keeping very good time. It is stem wind and lever set. As the crown is quite small and somewhat worn the watch can be slightly challenging to wind up.
 
14K White gold filled case in beautiful condition with no dents, dings, abrasion or wear through. Screw on/off covers with both doing so easily and both closing down square and tight. The bow is good but the crown is somewhat worn smooth.
 
Excellent white enamel Montgomery dial, very good blued steel spade heavy spade style hands and a very good glass crystal.
