16s Waltham 19 jewel "Vanguard" Half Hunter

Lovely 16 size good quality half hunter made by Waltham Watch Co. in 1907.
The nickel plate movement is a model 1899 and the top grade "Vanguard" with 19 jewels, a Swiss Lever escapement with double roller, Sapphire pallet stones, gold timing screws, and a "Church 1892" patent micro-regulator. The movement is finished with a lovely damaskeened pattern on the plates, gold jewel settings, and gilt inlaid script.
The watch is mechanically sound, runs strong in all positions and is keeping extremely good time over 24 hrs. It is stem wind and stem set (Tug on the crown to get to time set position, press down on the crown for Run-Wind). This all works smoothly.
The gold filled half hunter case is in super condition with no dents, dings, major abrasion or wear through. Hinged covers front and rear with a hinged internal dust cover. All of the hinges are good and all covers open and close as they should. The lift spring is good as pressing the crown releases the front cover where it is then held at 90degrees. A very nice half hunter case, please study the photos.
Original single sunk white enamel dial is in as new condition with a very good set of blued steel spade hands under a good acrylic crystal held in a good bezel where unusually the gold is intact.
Overall a really nice half hunter with a very high quality movement all in super condition and working as it should.
