16s Hampden 17 jewel full hunter
A handsome 17 jewel full hunter made by Hampden Watch Co. in 1899.
Good quality 17 jewel split plate movement with a Swiss lever escapement and a sprung micro-regulator. The watch has recently been serviced and it has a new mainspring. It's running well in all positions and keeping very good time.
Handsome gold filled full hunter case with hinged front and rear covers and an internal dust cover. All of the hinges are good and all of the covers operate as they should. There are no dents or dings and the gold appears intact throughout, a very smart case.
Original double sunk white enamel dial in super condition as are the blued steel hands and the acrylic crystal.
Overall a lovely hunter in everyday useable condition.
