16s Ball Hamilton 21 jewel 999P railroad watch

A smart railroader with the movement made by Hamilton in 1924 and housed in a genuine Ball stirrup bow open face case.
The model 999P movement has 21 jewels, a fully capped Swiss lever escapement with double roller, Sapphire pallets, gold timing screws, and a Ball micro-regulator. The spec also includes a gold (alloy) centre wheel and gold jewel settings. The watch runs strong and is keeping very good time, it is stem wind and lever set.
Original Ball stirrup bow case with scew on / off front and rear covers is in super condition with no apparent gold loss.
The correct Ball white enamel dial is in very good order apart from an obvious ealier repair around the 7-8. Whilst visible the repair is not particularly obvious with the watch in the hand.
A good set of heavy spade style hands under a good mineral crystal.
Overall a very collectable watch in excellent condition that is only slighly let down by the repaired dial.
