14 size Waltham full hunter. 7j Bond street.
Very nice 14 size full hunter made by Waltham watch Co. in 1903.
The sturdy and reliable brass movement is a model 1897, Bond Street grade with 7 jewels, and has a jewelled Swiss lever escapement. This watch is running nicely and is keeping very good time.
The watch is stem wind and stem set with both functions working well.
Gold filled full hunter case with hinged front and rear covers with an internal hinged dust cover. The case is in lovely condition with no dents or dings and with the gold intact apart from the bow, where it has been rubbed by a chain. All of the hinges are good with all of the covers operating as they should. The cover lift spring is intact and works as intended.
Original single sunk white enamel dial in good order as are the gilt hands and the brand new acrylic crystal.
Overall a fine example of this smaller sized hunter.
